A Den of Pirates and Thieves [ONUA]

The Greatest Secret was only just beginning.  To this end, XDI had teleported their newest member to Johannesburg City, alone.  She had her Brace, but that was it.  Rumor was that an associate of Aqua's was there, who could help them with their project.    And she had to procure his support by any means necessary.

Wearing this coat, with this shirt arrangement and blue jeans with black boots, she emerges from an alleyway in the thick of it all.   At least three different races were here, and some were eyeing her appreciatively.  Focused on her mission, she ignores them, and begins to search the local bars that she knew of.

[Onua]

Onua sat alone in a dusty old cabin of a bar by the beach, sipping an ice-cold bourbon. It was avoided by tourists in favour of the more high-end bars and restaurants, so only locals came here, and he trusted the humans long enough to mind their own business.

After searching the high end bars and restaurants to no avail, but being ogled more than she would have ever thought possible, although only by a few, she heads for one of the last destinations. It was by the beach. "It's a nice beach..too bad I'm here on business.." Though she did walk casually in the sand, heading for a seemingly unobtrusive looking building.

[Onua]

Of course, there was always at least one human who dared to pry, asking for a sob story or something similar. Onua gave them no such courtesy.

Davi would then walk in, and note the human leaving. Then she looks at him, and looks back at the readout on her brace. Yeah, this was him. She approaches carefully.

[Onua]

Onua took another sip of his drink. For a culture as in-advanced as they were, he had to admit that the humans made some potent alcohol.

"Mister Onua?" She questioned, not flinching if he looked up at her. "I heard you might be willing to help the right people out."

[Onua]

Onua raised an eyebrow, avoiding eye contact. So, she knew about him.

"Now, who told you that?" he asked, sipping his drink.

[Dark Buster Strike Team]

"A woman of silver to my planet came, and was a leader of some fame. She requested our help to beat the big bad, and remove from the people sad." Davi gave, sitting down across from him and lowering her tone. "The Resistance."

[Onua]

Onua just stared at her. "I'm not exactly in the mood for riddles. Get to the point."

[Dark Buster Strike Team]

"Good." Davi replied, not fazed in the least. "I was sent here by some very important people that talked to Aqua. You have a special material that apparently is good for viewports, yes? We need that, and your abilities, in an undertaking of great importance: The building of Earth's first space-worthy combat ship."

[Onua]

Great. The jig was up. Aqua had blabbed.

"Oh. You know." he sighed, setting his drink down on the bar. "You mean Thenium? Well, good luck getting some."

[Dark Buster Strike Team]

"Yes. I know." Davi gave simply. "And I will have great luck getting some, because you're going to help us. Help us get this complete, and my superiors will authorize a mission with the Earth's elite in support of the Resistance against Zangyack. Of course, if you don't want our help then we'll stick with defending our own planet, but there's other life out there that are under the iron boot, right? I figure the Resistance fights for freedom, so...surely you could see how this arrangement is mutually beneficial. Ask me questions if you wish."

[Onua]

Onua couldn't help but laugh. "Sound logic, human." he said. "Alright, I'll help. But how are you going to get the Thenium?"

"We have the means to get to where we need to go. But, as I recall, you're the Thenium expert. I imagine we would need the refined form of it, if Earth mining is anything to go by."
