Strengths:

• She is a probability engine. She can immediately analyze her surroundings and determine the exact actions she needs to take in order to provoke a certain chain of events. She can string together amazingly disparate events. She can even take down buildings, given time to prepare and intimate knowledge of the building's structure. She has this power in addition to the standard Beyond abilities of psychokinesis, telepathy and teleportation

Overview: Naomi is a very serious, somber person. She's a good operative, both in terms of record and temperament, but she has her flaws. Her largest flaw is her hubris. She's overconfident, and amazingly so. If she fails at something, like the sequence she sets off is interrupted, causing an undesired event to be achieved, she will spiral into a deep depression. She will often refuse to leave her room during these periods, but they only last for about a day or two. The real problem is how she reacts when someone else fails. She flies into a rage, only restrained from physically beating her victim usually by the quick thinking of her sister. The victim usually ends up on Naomi's shitlist, and Naomi will refuse to work with that person in any capacity where they can fail spectacularly. Which is any capacity.

History

Both sisters were raised in Ontario, although Naomi was born in Bordeaux, France, three years before they moved to Canada. When the sisters were young, they both showed signs of a innate defect, a genetic heart flaw. A doctor by the name of Dunkirk offered to help them, with an experimental treatment. The parents accepted right away, desperate to make sure their daughters lived. The serum Dunkirk used brought them both back to a clean bill of health, but as they grew, they began to exhibit signs of extraordinary abilities.

Naomi's power manifested as she entered the second grade. She'd always been a prodigy, excelling in all her courses, but on her first day of second grade, she found she could see more about her environment. She could see the screw in the ceiling rafter that was a tad loose, the nail poking out of the floor, a place where a small item someone could trip over could inflict serious harm. She began using this ability to get revenge on classmates who bullied her, engineering accidents to get them out of school. When her father found out, he grounded her for the rest of the school year and forced her to learn to not do that. It was tough, but eventually Naomi stopped using her powers for bad.

Their powers developed further, and they were soon approached by an associate of Dunkirk, a man who introduced himself as Hastings. He visited one day to meet the girls, then returned the next night with a team of black-clad mercenaries, to take the girls in for study. Naomi immediately teleported out with her sister, despite her fervent pleas, and fled into Ontario. They lived on the streets for a couple of months before they voluntarily entered an orphanage, where they stayed until Naomi was 18. At that point, she adopted Annie and continued to live, getting a job as a security guard for a museum while Annie managed to land an internship at a fashion magazine, despite the odds arrayed against her.

When Naomi was 25, Hastings returned for a second try. This time, they were saved by a group of people with powers like them, who brought them into the fold. Naomi's been working with them ever since.

She mostly wears flats (she would wear heels but her sister insists on "tactical readiness"), tight jeans that are usually a bright color like white, and loose blouses, generally printed in many colors and with a floral pattern. However, it changes quite often. She's just as likely to be wearing a sundress or a backless strapless gown or a bikini or a tube top and short shorts. Overview: Annie is the more open-minded of the two. She's generally very accepting and friendly and refuses to shut people out. She can, however, seem very scathing in her criticisms, usually delivered with a dry tone and some sarcasm. She will also often comment on what her friends are wearing. She's only recently learned that it's not exactly acceptable to change people's outfits while they're still wearing the clothing without their consent. She's often the one to physically restrain her sister when she gets angry, and this has grown somewhat tired of her sister's antics.

She soon learned to take apart and repair her stuffed animals, and then to take apart her bed sheets and then her clothing. That last one got her grounded for a week. She used the week to begin teaching herself to make clothes with her ability. Her parents, impressed, bought her some cloth to experiment with. Annie loved being able to mix and match fabrics and things to make clothing. She also began to learn boxing as another hobby to help occupy her time.
