Annie buried her face in Hayley's chest. She wanted nothing more in the world.
Inside, Naomi saw a single young woman, packing a trunk. The woman didn't seem to notice her entering, so she scuffed the floor with the heel of her boot and walked away quickly. The woman turned at the sound, following it out to the hall.

Annie curled her body a little bit, convulsions racing through it at the attention. Someone else had pressed up against her back, forcing her into Hayley.
Naomi whistled to get the woman's attention, before flicking a pencil upward. It bounced off the pin and hit a rusted screw on the water pipe, breaking the pipe open to create a small stream of water. Which passed over the pin, infusing it with the current from the wire. The woman went down like a sack of bricks.

She curled into Annie, nustling her head into Annie as best as she could.

Annie tried to scoot up a bit, towards Hayley's waist.
When the woman came to, she was bound rather similarly to Annie and Hayley, but without a hood. "I found those in that trunk of yours. Two brown-haired girls were just here. Where are they?" Naomi asked, planting a boot on the woman's shoulder.
The woman ignored her question, struggling a bit. "Answer me." Naomi growled, pressing a bit.

Annie went to work, trying to do what she could, gagged as she was.
"They're across the way, pink bands, please don't hurt me." The woman pleaded.
"Hypocrite." Naomi forcefully shoved the hood over her head and threw her over one shoulder, walking to the door she'd indicated.

Naomi opened the door, pausing at the scene. She sighed, and put the woman down, picking up Annie and pulling her out. Annie screamed and struggled, trying to go back.

Naomi set Annie down and focused, entering her mind. What she found was chaos. She exerted a considerable amount of energy simply reordering Annie's mind and putting her old self back together. When she finished, Annie was sitting calmly in her suit, looking at Naomi oddly.
When did you get here? Annie asked.
"Just now. You two are lucky I did, given your little situation." She walked back in and pulled Hayley out, closing the door behind her and setting Hayley a little ways from Annie, entering her mind to fix it.

"No. I came alone." Naomi replied. She stood, contemplating the two. "As punishment for cocking this up as royally as you two have, I think I'll leave you like this."
Sis, no! Please! Annie begged mentally, but Naomi didn't listen.

"This stuff suppresses powers, doesn't it?" Naomi asked, feeling the suit binding Annie. "Even better."
Sis, I know you're mad, but this is too far. Just let us go. Annie asked.
"You two effectively precluded the chance of recruiting that Beyond. You made us an enemy, not an ally." Naomi replied.
Annie sighed. Could you at the very least get our clothes?
