Overview: Aurora is the extreme version of the maniac pixie dream girl, as she is technically a pixie girl. She was raised by fairies and later kidnapped by humans, treated horribly by some, beloved by others. She doesn't want a job or go to school or too anything too mundane and human. She simply wants to live free amongst the trees and her fairy friends. There was only one man she ever loved and now she is incapable of loving anyone else. Even if she feelings started drifting towards another they would automatically hit a psychic roadblock and any feelings she may have had towards that person would just fade away..

History

Aurora has no real idea about her origins, her parents, or how she came to be. Her earliest memory was being surrounded by light. It was this light that raised her and cared for her, even if no one else would believe her. She lived in the forest outside the great city of Rome.

She was a young woman when she was captured by soldiers and enslaved by a nobleman who found her not only amusing, but enchantingly beautiful. Soon word spread across the Empire of the "Fairy Mistress." Other noblemen (and even some women) wanted Aurora (for that was the name her master gave her) for themselves, but her master would not give her up, not even for her weight in gold.

Not all were entranced by Aurora as none despised her more than the nobleman's wife. She twice tried to poison her, the second time she was caught in the act and expelled from the castle. It was around the same time that Aurora got fed up with this life and longed for the freedom of the forest.

She attempted to escape several times, but was stopped every time. The nobleman treated her well enough, but even he had his breaking point. He took to beating her everytime she failed to escape. He would never do it himself of course, but always watched as his servants did it for him.

She felt no love for the nobleman, only bitter contempt. But she did fall in love with the nobleman's son. He was kind to her and would often sneak her meals after she was punished by his father. He would often tell her that he planned to take her away from there one day, into the forest and live amongst the faefolk that raised her.

He was her bright and shining hope in a world filled with darkness. She was never the same after he died of plague. It wasn't long before the plague swept through the castle, claiming even the lord himself and leaving only Aurora. She was blessed by the fae and therefore immune to most human disease.

She left to the castle for the first time in years and returned to the forest. She was killed soon after by the stray arrow of a hunter who mistook her for a gentle doe..

She found herself in front of a door where a choice was made and a power was received. She returned to the world of the living, albeit several hundred years in the future, but found herself unable to love another human being ever again.
