"Oh, this thing?" Tyler gave non-chalantly. "It's something I found deep in the mountains. Felt like I was drawn to it. Well, that, and one of these." he shows the Beast Battery. "I don't really know anything about it, but there's this voice that's been telling me to go find something else that goes with this." Then he looks at her a little closer. "I'm just an ordinary guy that likes the outdoors."

She pulled at the chain on her neck, lifting her cross necklace, "Do you have one of these?" she questioned, showing him the gem embedded into the center, asking him hurriedly, somewhat excited.

"No, but I imagine it's one of the things I need to find." Tyler gave, examining the gem curiously, before rubbing his hand on his pants and then extending it to her. "I'm Tyler."

She tucked the necklace back under her shirt and took his hand, "McKenzie," she told him with a small smile, "I can explain to you what I know, if you want."

She nodded, "Come with me," she said, leading him away from the scene of the battle and towards an area that hadn't been under attack. There was a small outdoor area for a cafe, so she went over there and sat down, "I'll pay since I brought you here," she told him.

He would order tea, along with a hamburger and fries that seemed rather healthful in the way that he ordered the former. Nothing fancy, just lettuce and tomato with mayo.

When the waitress left, she nodded, "Ok, so, I'll tell you what I know. Those batteries you have, I have them too," she said, "They load into my blaster that you saw. They also let me Morph. The crystal is for creating a bond with a dinosaur partner, which is what lets you become a Ranger."

"It's weird then," she told him, "I never heard anything until after really gaining the gem. Granted, my dinosaur appeared in spirit and kind of gave it to me."
