In 2014, Space Empire Zangyack came to try to seize the Earth as their own. With their intergalactic army, and soldiers they picked up from past/failed attempts to take the Earth, they began their attack. Many people died, but the Sentai and Power Ranger teams rose up to stop them and protect the Earth.
The Zangyack didn't expect resistance, and was merely trying to gain slaves and resources. When the attack was stopped, the Zangyack retreated for a time, unaware that the Rangers existed, or would come together like this. The break in the fighting is about to stop, and the Zangyack is about to return again to engage and try to take the Earth as their own once more.
The Zangyack, however, not only has the Rangers to deal with. Two Princes are locked in a power struggle, and different factions exist within the Zangyack, all of them vying to do things their way, and gain their own prestige and honors from the Emperor.
