She hesitated a moment, before slipping back into that persona. "Very well. Keep up the good work, but don't overwork yourself." she adds as an afterthought, nodding in acknowledgement to him.

She watches him as he leaves. It wasn't worth it right now. She had to be strong. And stay completely within her work, aloof from things. It may not have been the best approach, but it seemed to work for her father. So she was going to follow it, locking her feelings away.

Kiriha stepped outside and closed the door. He figured this was who she was, as a field leader, and who she had to be. It's not the type of person he'd ever be, but he would never be her.
