Hair style: Short, kept neat
Eye color: Blue
Skin color: Caucasian
Posture:
Scars/ Tattoo’s/ Other markings: He has seams around his left wrist, his left upper thigh, and about at the top of his right armpit, all of which pass for scars. He also has a moving, holo tattoo of the V-Rex roaring on his left shoulder blade. As for actual scars, he has a number of them criss crossing his chest; one through his navel that runs parallel to his waist, one that slashes diagonally from his right shoulder to his left hip, and one over his left lung.
Accessories: His Time Emblem is always on his lapel.
Clothes: Malcolm wears a black tee shirt, black pants, and a red overshirt.
Anything Else? Malcolm has a cybernetic right arm that is stronger than a human arm. His left hand about half way up to the elbow is also cybernetic, and it contains a device similar to a modern taser that knocks out a target he touches with a small jolt of electricity. He has about five shocks before he has to activate the device’s solar recharge, or he can just use all five charges to blast an enemy with lightning. Neither of these functions can used while transformed. He has a left hand replaced as well.
His eyes are top of the line TPD tech. They are designed to anticipate and point out timeline discrepancies, including those caused by himself or his officers. On top of this, and providing him with a permanent HUD, he can tap into the visors of the Timerangers to see what they see. He can only pull this off for seconds at a time, and it’s always tinted the color of their visor, but it comes in handy. Also, he can do this if he feels like it. His left lung is an off the shelf replacement.
Inner Stuff
Likes:
- The word “frak”. He uses it a lot.
- Antique, pen and paper roll playing games. It helps that he can manage to create images with his eyes.
- His team, when they’re working well together
Dislikes:
- His team when they’re NOT working well together
- Chronal lawbreakers, and any time he has to mess with the timestream
- Modern Earth music
Strengths:
- His eyes let him not only visualize but also project a holographic image discrepencies in the timestream, problems with the time vortex, and how much time can be damaged before Reapers show up. He also knows a lot about paradoxes and the butterfly effect.
- Being Captain has its perks – and Special Authorization is one of them
- He is the best fighter of the group
Weaknesses:
- He’s used to only going out when absolutely necesary
- He doesn’t tolerate his officers stepping out of line
- Can be distracted by a beautiful man/woman
Goal(s):
- Aprehend Abrella at all costs
Habits/ Quirks:
- When he lands, he immediately takes a deep breath of the air.
- His eyes glow blood red when he gets pissed off. You’ll know it when you see it.
- He cannont simply holster his pistol. He must instead twirl it before putting it in the holster.
Relationships:
- Thomas Fleming/TimeRed: Malcolm sees Thomas as his graduated apprentice. He knew Thomas had great potential, needing only a good push and a bit of encouragement and recognition to reach his pique.
- Miranda Wells/TimePink: The woman who helped design the suits and, in doing so, put him back in the line of duty. As a show of gratitude he made sure that she would get one of the suits offered to her. He treats her like one of his little sisters, and is always ready to help her when she needs it.
- TimeBlue
- TimeGreen
- TimeYellow
- TimeSnow
Overview: Malcolm is a cool, calm individual who isn’t above throwing around a few wisecracks. He’s also a bit of a flirt, constantly eyeing his subordinates (though the Timerangers are mentally off limits to him). He’s a bit chivalrous, too his own detriment. It takes effort to make Malcolm mad, but when he does there are three versions; slightly annoyed, shouting mad, and his trademarked silent fury.
Hero Stuff
Name: Third Generation Chronal Expedition Battlesuit Series Quantum; “TimeFire”
Type Of Hero: Timeranger
Henshin Device: V-Commander
Henshin Sequence: Malcolm puts his V-Commander upto his mouth and declares “TimeFire!” Red particles appear and coat his body, forming his suit. The V-Commander is voice locked in the same way that the Chrono Changers are fingerprint locked.
Forms:
- Form Name: TimeFire
Image/ Description: TimeFire!
Motif: Time Police, T-Rex
Color Scheme: Burgundy, Black, Silver
Transformation: Detailed above
Fighting Style: Since Malcolm’s intervention is a last resort, he usually takes no time to slash and blast his way through a situation. He opts for fast, damaging blasts that take out an opponent, while usually showing off as he does so.
Weapons: DV Defender 1, 2
Abilities: Along with the boosted all around stats, the suits provide HUD and a linkup to the Institute's mainframe (though certain information needs special authorization), as well as a targeting system, infrared, and night vision. The suits actively monitor the user's health levels and allow the user to be unaffected by any drastic changes in the timeline. As team captain Malcolm can access information from his team members, including their vital signs, without effort. The only downside to the suit is that needs a certain amount of charge time to rebuild the Wells Particles in order to be used again. The Wells Particles can be used up in battle, causing the user to revert back to their pre-transformed state.
Finisher(s): DV Refreezer: An energy blade projects from the blade of the weapon, which he uses to slash through his opponent and freeze them once more. - Form Name: TimeFire Distortion Defense

History
Malcolm Daniels always knew that he wanted to be cop – classic cop movies told him so. He had always been inspired by the likes of Elliot Stabler and John McClane more than any actual cops. Malcolm was the oldest of his five siblings, as well as being the only boy due to a fluke with his mother’s IVF. He grew up being protective of his sisters, which also influenced his misinformed decision.
He made it onto the Scottish police force by the skin of his teeth. His heart was always in the right place, but he did have a habit of playing cowboy (literally in one bizarre case) that got him in a lot of trouble. One mission ended with him requiring a replacement lung and he was given a desk or badge decision. He decided to hand in his badge, but he still wanted to be able to help people, so he looked for jobs as bounty hunters, eventually being recruited at the Time Institute.
It was there where he signed up to test the First Generation Chronal Battlesuit, where he excelled and was chosen to be the first to hold the Second Generation Series Red morpher, which he accepted.
Malcolm had already learned what happened if you don’t use your head, and vowed to not let his squadmates go through the same mistakes as him. When more suits were commissioned, he helped pull some strings to get Miranda Wells’ name on the list of candidates. He also met a cadet by the name of Thomas Fleming, who Malcolm took under his wing.
When Malcolm was given leadership of the team, as well as the V-Commander, he made sure that Fleming received his old Changer.
