Overview:To those that only know her from military/official ceremonies Adriana is seen as the poster child for American patriotism. Loyal to her country and willing to do anything for it she is the person that all children strive to be and she acts like it as well. However her dark side is revealed when she executes her mission with military precision using her natural born abilities as an Orphnoch to eliminate anyone that threatens America whether it is domestic or foreign threats. She has no emotion to speak of and any emotion that she does display are fake and born from years of training to be perfect in front of other people. The only person she ever speaks to is Patriot, her pet eagle, and her superior Frank who treats her like his own daughter.

History

Born to a family of US Air Force pilots the only thing that rivaled Adriana’s love of flying and the sky was the love she had for her country. Extremely patriotic she would spend hours listening to stories of her grandfather’s exploit during World War II as well as what her father did when he was in the Air Force. She would attend all Fourth of July ceremonies and watch in rapt awe when fighter jets fly above her as she wanted nothing more than to one day be in the pilot seat of those figher jets.

Therefore it came to no surprise to anyone when she decided to join the US Air Force and it was a proud moment for her family when she announced her intentions. She went into the academy and was the star student of her class with many believing that she would be the US Air Force’s ace in years to come as she went on several missions destroying enemy assets around the world.

However at the age of 29 she suffered a massive hit to her aircraft during a mission and she had to choose two choices: eject and save herself, but at the cost of her mission and the risk of US troops being bombarded with artillery or a suicidal last shot at completing her mission. It didn’t take more then a minute to make her decision as she steered her downed fighter jet towards an enemy building that served as a headquarters and sacrificed herself to protect her fellow Americans.

When American troops breached the compound they were surprised to find Adriana somehow still alive despite the fact that it was impossible that she could have survived a last-ditch kamikaze attack. When Lieutenant General Frank Wilson heard about this he remembered information about Orphnochs, as he was there when Shocker attacked the world which initiated the war between them and the Riders, and therefore about the way that they were born.

Other US military leaders agreed that Adriana had somehow became an Orphnoch and they decided to use her newfound powers for their betterment as during the post-war period they had discovered the Psyga gear and after many testing concluded that only pure Orphnochs could wear and utilize them. Therefore the next ten years Adriana was kept in a secure, black ops, facility where she underwent intense brainwashing program codnamed Project Star with the goal of creating a perfect soldier who would protect America and their interest.

During that time Adriana found an American Bald Eagle injured near the facility and she brought it with her to treat it of its wounds, however she began to feel kinship with it and after intense argument she was allowed to keep it as a pet renaming it Patriot and it became her constant companion from then on.

After the program was completed they were successful in creating the perfect soldier, Adriana now had little to no emotion at all and she was able to execute all orders perfectly without any question or hesitation. She was given the Psyga gear and was showcased to the American people as their hero, a hero that will protect them no matter what as her undying loyalty for America became a beacon of hope and inspiration throughout the world.

Overview:
Forever strong. That is probably James’ motto about his way of life, he is always seeking ways to improve himself and his strength and it comes to no surprise to anyone that he is always seen training in whatever that he deems necessary in order to become better than his opponents. In order to test the result of his training and to see if he has improved at all he is seeking powerful opponents in order to destroy them as proof of his strength.

But with strength comes recklessness as his thirst to prove himself sometimes blinds him to the bigger picture and he charges head first into battle regardless of the consequences.

History

Born in Los Angeles to a family of athletes James’ competitive side was already matured and grown throughout his entire life. His father would often compete with him in fastest sprinting or in how fast they can bench press or any myriad of competitive sports; he pushed his son to be the best and in return James always pushed himself no matter what the situation was. This earned him a spot in various sport positions where he was your stereotypical jock in school: proud of his abilities and always looking for ways to improve himself.

He was offered various scholarships in universities with the chance to become pro in whatever sport he chose to, but the one offer that actually interested him was when an Army recruiter talked to them in order to drum up new recruits for the army. The chance to not only serve his country, but also face challenging obstacles appealed to the competitive student and he did not hesitate to sign up for the army as soon as he was of age. This surprised many people who had been expecting him to take a sports scholarship, but his family couldn’t be prouder and agreed that the army would challenge James to be the best that he could ever be.

Life in the army was tough and James faced many obstacles during his time; however his competitive side did not allow him to give up and he continued to strive to improve himself no matter how much he had trained or how much combat experience he had. He became the type of soldier that any officer would want in their unit and he quickly rose the army ladder landing until one day he was recruited to be part of the famous Green Berets where he accepted the challenge.

After undergoing the grueling trial that tested his entire mental and physical being he became a Green Beret and underwent several mission before being promoted to Captain. He was then considered for the Sentinel Division and was subsequently awarded with the title ‘Sentinel of Duty’ and given the Leangle Buckle, which had been excavated by the US government with the full deck to compliment it.

She looks up to Adriana because of the woman’s seemingly calm manner, aware of her true past and nature but nonetheless looks up to her, she is always trying to do her best whenever the spotlight turns on her though she gets nervous easily. However her analytical and tactical mind is a valuable asset to the Sentinels and she is the one that makes up the tactics and plans that are utilized by the Sentinel Division.

History

Born to a normal family Nina spent her childhood days spending time in a lake where she swam with her family and fishing with them. She led a peaceful life and there were no indications of the future that she would have as she was in every way a normal child, that is until she entered school where she was heavily praised for her analytical mind being able to solve complex problems that would normally stump even the best of adults. This proved to be a boon to her as she began to take interest in chess thanks to her grandfather and she soon took the world by storm as she became a chess champion, being able to defeat anyone that she came across and her mind was something that was envied by many people.
As she continued through her school life she became uncomfortable with her fame and tried to hide it as much as she could though it was a futile effort. Her teachers tried to encourage her to mature and enhance her mind, but she refused to do it out of fear that she would become different than everyone at school and therefore as time went on the fame wore off and soon she had a relatively normal life.

But her future would not be as normal as she thought it would be as she was approached by the Navy to serve as an analyst for them in troop deployment. She was hesitant at first, but deep inside the shy and unsure girl burned the heart of a patriot and she wanted to serve her country by any means possible; the Navy assured her that she would not be sent onto the battlefield unless necessary and she would be compensated for her efforts. With that deal as well as encouragement from her family, friends and teachers Nina agreed and joined the Navy undergoing many tests and examinations until she earned the position of naval analyst. 

Her mind was a gift to the Navy as she organized many naval exercises that improved the Navy’s ability to quickly react to attacks as well as plans that were fool-proof and efficient in completing their objectives. She became a strategist beyond comparison and she soon enjoyed her job seeing it as the greatest way to use her mind to help her fellow Americans.

When the Sentinel Division was set up there were talks about who create their strategies and policies needed in order to create an effective unit. Nina was on the lips of every officer and the Secretary of Defense agreed that Nina was the most qualified candidate as he personally talked to her. Although Nina was afraid mainly due to the fact that she would be put on the front-lines she was assured that the other three Sentinels would be sufficient in defeating any enemies that they came across, she even met with Adriana who quietly encouraged the girl to broaden her horizons and take the plunge in accepting the role.

Amazed at the calmness that Adriana possessed as well as her charismatic idealology Nina agreed to take the position of Sentinel of Honour and subsequently was given the Raia deck, which had been salvaged from Detroit the first time that the US military tried to take back the ruined town.

Overview:
A mysterious enigma, not many people know Adam’s true personality and that’s the way he likes it. He prefers to keep to himself and interacts only with his fellow Sentinels, he loves peace and quiet and hates noisy people. He is often seen playing chess against Nina who he is fond of along with the others and wishes to protect them from harm if possible. However the one thing that he truly despises is his inability to remember what happened during the time he went missing, whenever he tries to remember something or if something triggers a memory he suffers from excruciating headaches that lasts for exactly ten minutes each time.

History

Born into a Marine family Adam had little choice in where his future was going to go to, he didn’t want to join the Marines, but he knew that his father would never allow him to go to any other job. He never complained though and dutily did what needed to be done including keeping his nose out of trouble and getting good grades to be accepted into the Marine Corp. He kept to himself both in basic training and throughout his career only speaking when he was spoken to, this wasn’t out of sulking or spite, but simply because he didn’t feel like communicating with other people and therefore he communicated only if necessary.

However despite his reluctance to be part of the Marine Corp. he proved to be a capable person and was commendated in several engagements against the enemy. People thought that he was the shining example of what it meant to be a Marine and they had little doubt that he would go far in the military chain of command, which made Adam happy because it meant that he would get a cushy desk job and most likely never step out of American soil ever again.

But before he was pulled out after his tour had ended a building that he was investigating exploded seemingly as part of an elaborate trap. The Marines pulled his charred body out and he was considered KIA in military records much to the grief of the US military and his family who both knew that he would have gotten far if he had survived his tour.

Life continued on for five years until one day a dazed and confused Adam stumbled into a marine base and told the guards who he was. At first the guards thought that he was joking as they knew that Adam had been ‘killed’ five years prior and that he must be drunk, but Adam insisted that he was who he say he is and he was subsequently taken into custody when the guards lost their patience. When interrogated by NCIS he produced the Birth Driver shocking the entire Department of Defense, who had been searching for the Driver for years ever since the destruction of the Kougami Foundation, and they wondered how he ever gotten his hands on it.

However Adam himself had no idea as he knew that he was supposed to die as he saw the bomb inside the building. But he blacked out and when he woke up he was outside a Marine base in the United States and was unable to remember what had transpired between his apparent death and his reapperance. A DNA test proved that he was who he says it is and the body that they buried mysterious vanished; therefore without any solid evidence and the fact that he had an exemplary service Adam was introduced to the Sentinel Division and asked to serve his country once more. His dissaperance seemed to have also altered his personality as he became as mysterious as a shadow and was even more quiet than before, but people noticed that he seemed eager to join the Sentinel Division and therefore he was given the title Sentinel of Freedom and was sent to serve his country once again.
