Hero Stuff
Name: Kamen Rider Diend
Type Of Hero: Kamen Rider
Henshin Device: Diendriver and the KamenRide: Diend card.
Henshin Sequence: Minami inserts the Diend card into the side of the Diendriver before pulling the front outward. She then raises the Driver upward and exclaims "Henshin!", pulling the trigger, causing three staticked copies of her Rider Form (one being red, one blue, and one green) to appear and move around her while Diend's insignia appears above her, splitting off into thirteen blue plates. The copies then converge onto her body, forming the armor, and then the thirteen plates fall onto her visor, giving Diend its cyan color.
Forms:
- Form Name: Kamen Rider Diend
Image/ Description: Kamen Ride: DIEND!
Motif: Cards, camera color index.
Color Scheme: Cyan, black, yellow, white
Transformation: See above.
Fighting Style: Uses a lot of long-range attacks when fighting on her own, but she usually prefers to use her other Kamen Ride cards to summon minions to do the work for her.
Weapons: Diendriver and her cards. (KamenRide, AttackRide, Final FormRide, and Final AttackRide)
Abilities: Can summon Riders using her Kamen Ride cards.
Finisher(s): Diend has two, which are triggered when she uses the Final AttackRide: Diend card.- Dimension Shoot - Nine rings of cards showing the previous nine Heisei Riders appear before the Diendriver. Diend then sucks in any Riders summoned by his Kamen Ride cards before firing a shot from the Diendriver at the target, coming out as a green and black beam.
- Blue Strike - A flying side kick which surrounds her foot with blue energy.
- Form Name: Kamen Rider Diend Complete Form
Image/ Description: Final KamenRide: DIEND!
Motif: Cards, cameras
Color Scheme: Cyan, Silver, Black, Gold
Transformation: Taking out the K-Touch, Diend touches the G4, Ryuga, Orga, Glaive, Kabuki, Caucasus, Arc, and Skull buttons on it (in that order) before placing it on her belt and transforming into Complete Form
Fighting Style: Not much has changed, really. She's just had her abilities enhanced
Weapons: Diendriver
Abilities: Can summon the eight Riders on the K-Touch through that, who will mimic her movements.
Finisher(s): Assault of the Dark Riders - Activating the Gekijouban AttackRide card, Minami summons the Riders represented on her K-Touch. All nine Riders then perform their finishing moves, which consist of four Rider Kicks (Ryuga, Caucasus, Arc, Skull), three Rider Shootings (Diend, Kabuki, G4), and two Rider Slashes (Glaive, Orga).
Other Equipment:
- Ribbon Grappler - The ribbon attached to the gauntlet on her right hand is actually a grappling hook, able to hoist her up buildings, as well as grappling foes and drawing them to her.
- Utility belt - Usually for her smoke grenades and other theiving tools she needs when not transformed.
- DCD (Dimension Crossing Device) - The tentative name for the device that lets her cross dimensions. It is placed in the vambrace on her left arm.
History
Minami Takahashi had a harsh life growing up. Having been raised in an orphanage her whole life, she never really met her actual parents, and she could never keep many friends because all of them were adopted by families seeking a child; Minami never got picked, so she spent her entire childhood living there. And as far as she (or anyone else for that matter) was concerned, this wasn't a good thing. Most of the staff at the orphanage treated the children like dirt, discouraging the ones that didn't get adopted by telling them that they didn't deserve families, and that their parents left them there because they didn't want them. The only one who treated the orphans with any sort of care was a woman named Megumi Ohori (also known as Meetan, a name given to her by the kids), who had a knack for discovering the kids' talents. For Minami, it happened to be singing, and Meetan coached her until the day Minami left the orphanage to live on her own. During her singing lessons, Meetan confided in Minami about her wish to start an orphange of her own, but unfortunately she didn't have enough money to run one. Minami chose to pursue Meetan's dream for her when she decided to become a singer, hoping to return with enough money so that her teacher and friend can fulfill her dream and she can treat the kids without a home much better than how she was treated.Unfortunately, getting jobs was no easy task for Minami. She couldn't find anyone to be her manager, or a label to sign onto, mostly due to her yankii-like appearance; this left her working odd jobs for a time. She hit her big break when a rather expensive club was looking for a lounge singer, and Minami managed to get a job there. But even then, with her living expenses and the like, even being a singer wasn't going to help. So when a man came in one day, one who flaunted his wealth like he was a god compared to the lower class, the young woman had a thought: Let's see how he likes it, to be grouped with these "lowly beings" he steps on top of... Thus, Minami committed her first theft. It wasn't much; it was just a wallet with several 10,000 yen notes. She thought it was going to be a one-time thing, and that her financial situation wouldn't get better... Until a wounded man came up to her and literately handed her a gun, some cards, and a strange device before dying in her arms. When she finally realized what she could do with these items, she decided to make a name for herself as a phantom thief, and one that the police weren't able to catch.
It was during this time that she met a girl named Koyomi, and a man named Sebastian Crowley. She grew close to the duo, and was considering going straight because of them, but their time together came to an abrupt end when her world's Phoenix Phantom attacked Sebastian and Koyomi, resulting in their deaths and Minami herself was too late to stop them. She almost fell to despair before she pulled herself out of it, swearing that she would move heaven and earth to have them back. She traveled all over the many worlds in order to find the item she sought: the Philospher's Stone, the only thing capable of bringing them back. Her search has finally led her to this world, casting away her old name in the process. Now she is simply a Jane Doe...
