Overview:
Countless years of life experience have honed Firo into an enigma wrapped in a puzzle wrapped in a mystery. There is no doubt that he is the strangest of all the immortals. His mannerisms are odd, with his long pauses, spontaneous whispering, and irregular emphasis of words, his expression’s unique, and he just seems to stand apart from a gathering of people.
Merely his presence in a room has made people feel uncomfortable, not only due to his irregular behaviour, but because of his reputation as a ruthless businessman. Whenever an opportunity to make money presents itself, he’ll generally take it, regardless of the consequences for others. He’s rich, so he can get away with it.

History
Born in somewhere around 1125 AD, the Maerti family lived in Italy. They had wealth and power, with a mother, father, servants, and seven children. Firo was one of the middle children. He was brought up in the Maerti household to be someone of worth to society, to be someone of power.
Though he strived to prove himself, he found that he was often ignored by his father and usually on the receiving end of the bullying behaviour of his older brother Castor. He thought Castor was an ass.
When he was approximately in his mid-20s, his father had organized the family to be part of an alchemic/magical experiment. Using blood magic, the siblings and their parents were made immortal, made into Blood-Borne. So long as they drank blood and made sacrifices, they would theoretically live forever (blood was needed, due to the rate it passed through the body without the body producing enough on its own, and the sacrifices were superstition more than fact).
Blessed with newfound immortality, Firo set out into the wider world to find new experiences. Over the course of the next few hundred years, he amassed even more wealth than he already had, quickly becoming a very rich man.
Time passed, and Firo founded Eternity Incorporated, which was initially a record company, but soon grew to have its hands in a little bit of everything from soft drinks to phones. His goal is to one day have a power base that rivals that of his own father, so he can kill him with minimal effort.
