Forest Investigation [Seto]

[Seto Arai]

"Ma'am?" Seto questioned as he walked. "How many corpses do you exactly want? I feel like a vulture doing this."

[Cristina Blanco]

"The quantity from the corpses already removed will be enough for a good amount of testing. One more and we'll depart," she told Seto.

As they came over the hill, there was another corpse, "There," she said, walking towards it. Then there was a crack towards her right, something stepping on a twig, but the weight of it was more human, rather than an animal. She turned, "Undead!" she hissed.

[Seto Arai]

ZECTroopers were trained to respond right on the spot. Seto, on the other hand, was only educated in the field of Lockseeds and Helheim so when he heard Blanco blurt out "Undead", he confusingly looked around.

"Undead?" he cluelessly asked. "Where?"

He caught sight of the source far too late.

[Cristina Blanco]

The two troopers fired on the Undead, but it was using the tree cover to evade and get closer. It threw its arm forward, controlling the vines and bending them, lashing them at the two combatants, taking them down.

"I recall researching this," she hissed, "I believe this is a Queen class."

[Seto Arai]

"Queen class? What?!" Seto asked as he locked himself into combat with the so-called 'Undead' creature, slashing the vines and saving the two ZECTroopers from certain death. He twirled his Kagematsu in an attempt to knock away the Undead's arms and so far only source of defense.

[Cristina Blanco]

The Undead smashed his weapon aside and threw her arm out to send vines for Seto while focusing on strangling the two ZECTroopers first, since they were easier prey.

[Seto Arai]

Unfortunately for the Undead, Seto had inherited his uncle's altrustic nature and the latter was definitely NOT going to let another person die in front of him.

'Matsubokkuri Sparking!'

After cleaving his lockseed thrice, he unleashed a whirlwind attack, spinning at rapid speeds and shredding the vines to pieces while doing his utmost best to keep the Undead at bay.

'So far so good...' Seto thought as he turned to the ZECTroopers. "Fall back! Get Ms. Blanco out of here!"

[Cristina Blanco]

The Undead focused on Seto and approached him. The two troopers fell back and fired from a range, letting the Rider deal with the monster.

"I lack my belt," Cristina muttered. She looked back, but the other troopers weren't coming yet.

The Undead lashed out vines for Seto.

[Seto Arai]

Seto's Sparking attack had just ran out of duration and vines easily whipped the vulnerable trooper to the ground.

'On second thought maybe I'm not doing so well...' Seto gritted and he turned to the scientist for help as they backed away. "Oy, how do I kill this thing?!"

[Cristina Blanco]

"You can't kill it with your equipment. Disable it? Yes. Hit it with your finishing attack should do it!" she called.

[Seto Arai]

"Finisher..." Seto said and he looked around. "Dammit, where is my spear?"

He eventually located his Kagematsu...now under the foot of the Undead he'a fighting.

[Cristina Blanco]

The Undead walked towards him, but vines ensnared the spear, pinning it down. She ran throwing a punch for Seto's chest.

[Seto Arai]

Seto winced heavily in pain as the punch made stumble backwards. However, he quickly recovered and returned the favor with a punch of his own.

[Cristina Blanco]

The Undead stumbled back a little. The Queen of Hearts threw her arms out, gathering many vines around her.

"Soldier, get over here!" Cristina called to Seto.

[Seto Arai]

"Eh?" Seto said, turning to Cristina upon hearing her orders and did so.
