From the first days men coexisted with beasts, they felt the need to match the abilities of their animal counterparts. The animals had abilities far beyond those of men they wished to have for their own. Four millennia ago, 10 men and women under the tutelage of a sage known as Bruce E, harnessed the natural energy of the human spirit and developed Jyuken, a kenpou to allow men the power of beasts through the power of Ki.
However, dissent spread among the founders. Some wished to use their power to conquer and dominate their fellow man, while others opposed this. The three who wished to conquer finally had enough and killed Bruce E, beginning a rebellion that split the following of Jyuken into two schools: RinJyuDen harnessing the dark energy of Rinki and GekiJyuKen harnessing the energy of Geki.. The three Kenma led RinJyuDen bravely, but they fell before the seven Kensei. The Kensei, knowing they would return, began recruiting and training GekiJyuKen users, creating styles as widely varied as the animals of the earth. In the shadows, RinJyuDen waited.
In the present day, GekiJyuKen recruits through the sporting goods company SCRTC. They have GekiJyuKen users spread across the world, ready to fight at a moment's notice. But as RinJyuDen regains it's former strength, especially now that Snow, a former student of GekiJyuKen and master of Owl-ken, is now leading it, they need more. Following this, they began developing devices to enhance the Geki of the user, give it a concrete form about their body. The flagship model were the three GekiChangers, but there do exist specialized models such as the GongChanger for users of Wolf-ken. The fight is on; the Rebellion rages once more.

There is plenty of room for OC Rangers and Changers, as long as the style hasn't been claimed already or hasn't been used by a canon RinJyuDen user. I would prefer if we fill out the canon roster before making OC's, but act as you will. The Kensei, Kenma and RinJyuDen's leadership will remain as NPC's, controlled by me for story purposes.
