Seto nodded and placed it on. Once the belt has strapped onto his waist, he pulled out his Matsubokkuri Lockseed and awaited further instruction.

The scientist reached down and removed his blank plate and attached the Core. "Put your Seed in, as usual. The Energy Seed goes into the Core, and then they cut as one."

Seto nodded and placed Matsubokkuri in the Drive Bay, while the scientist helped him attach the Core as well as the Energy Lockseed. He then proceeded to slice down the knife once everything was set.

'Soiya! Matsubokkuri Ar-Matsubokkuri-Matsubokkuri-Matsu-Matstu-Matsu-Maaaaaaaaatsssuuuuuu......Jiiiiinnnbbbaaa....'
The pitch of the Sengoku Driver lowered and tiny sparks spat out from both lockseeds here and there, much to Seto's shock and disbelief. "Um, okay? Was that suppose to happen?

The scientist looked, "Hm...I think I can fix this. Give me a little time," he held his hand out, "I'll modify that Core."

Seto detached the Lockseed and removed the Core from his Sengoku Driver, before handing it to the scientist. He still held the Energy Lockseed, too fascinated by what potential it could bring out. He aligned it with his Sengoku Driver, feeling the back of the Lockseed to get an idea of the shape.
It was identical to the Sengoku Driver's slot and he asked the scientist. "Would it work if I just used this and cut it open?"

"It wouldn't dock in the Sengoku Driver," the scientist told him. He took the Core over to some of his other work, "I can implant this into a Genesis Driver to make it whole. Since the Core's not functioning properly with that mass produced Driver, I'll gladly give you this end result."
