Power and Favors [Seto]

[Iris Trochu]

He nodded, "A Genesis Driver."

[Seto Arai]

"Some clearance to a WMD, I'll say." Seto said to Iris. He looked at the scientist working on the Core.

[Iris Trochu]

Iris walked towards him, "As far as I'm concerned, you deserve this. You helped me, you brought the political power of what's left of France to URSA. You deserve this."

[Seto Arai]

Seto looked at Iris and nodded gratefully. "Thank you, ma'am. I will forever be in your debt."

[Iris Trochu]

"No. We're even," she told him, "You owe me nothing." She picked a Genesis Driver up from a table and picked up an Energy Seed in her other hand, looking at the two objects. She placed the Driver on her waist, "Although, I do have a job opportunity for you, if you wish it."

[Seto Arai]

"And what opportunity would that be, ma'am?" Seto said, momentarily confused by her equipping a spare Genesis Driver.

[Iris Trochu]

"I'm in need of more than just a single bodyguard," she told him.

"Peach Energy"

"Especially to save my country."

"Soda! Peach Energy Arms!"

She loaded the Seed and began her transformation into Marika.

[Seto Arai]

Seto took a step back, recoiling in surprise. He thought to himself, 'Didn't I just see this rider during the attack?'

"You're willing to step into battle for your country's future?" he asked.

[Iris Trochu]

"I plan on doing whatever I must to protect my country, even if that means allying with Last Raven and URSA both, and giving them both my country's aid."

[OOC: of note, she basically just took the Driver from a soldier who was at the Sagittarius fight, Iris wasn't the Marika from that fight]

[Seto Arai]

"You're one courageous diplomat, ma'am." he complimented and he looked at the scientist who was finishing up with the Genesis Driver assigned to him. "But, it's going to be war out there..."

[Iris Trochu]

"You can call me Iris," she told him, undoing the transformation, "It is not war, not yet. Those are my people dying in their homes. While URSA chases after ghosts of GAIA here, in Japan, France is burning. The war isn't being fought, so it's not war. It's slaughter. I intend to make it a war."

[Seto Arai]

"Only a matter of time." Seto said to Iris, before seeing the scientist eventually completed the modifications. Upon seeing the last touches being added onto the driver, the trooper walked over and placed his hand on it.

[Iris Trochu]

She nodded, "I hope that this gift will help start the effort off well."

[Seto Arai]

Seto picked up the Genesis Driver and curtly nodded to the scientist in thanks as he took off his Sengoku Driver and placed it on the table, swapping places for the Genesis Driver on his waist.

The belt formed and Seto picked up the Lemon Energy Lockseed. "Ever since I joined URSA, I always wanted to prove myself to humanity and have the power to save and protect..."

He then gave the Lockseed a sad look. "The unfortunate thing is that Nakagawa and Lady Kureshima would never trust me with this kind of power. To them, I'm nothing more than just a reckless cannon fodder way out of his mind."

[Iris Trochu]

"I know otherwise," she told him, "You want to do what's right, and I will guide you on that path. You thought the Fangire to be an enemy, did you not? It's a mistake anyone could have made. But now we have a more apparent enemy, and one you can unleash everything against."
