Old Haunts, New Appearances [OPEN/Iris]

[Shinji Yakamura]

"Ah i see...I'm sorry to hear that," Shinji said as he understood that it would be hard for her to be here where she lived and studied, it would be very hard for a human. Mayu then asked as she asked about Iris, "Yes she is, Iris Trochu," he said as he turned to Iris, "Iris this is Mayu Inamori an..." what exactly was Mayu? A friend? Ex-lover? Ex-dead-lover? "old acquaintance of mine," he decided.

[Iris Trochu]

"I am the daughter of the French president. Or, as I call myself now, the Queen of France. We're on our way to try to purge enemy forces from my home."

[Mayu Inamori]

"Heh..a Queen, then?" Mayu speaks, in the language they mutually understand. "You'll forgive me if I don't bow. I've been a wanderer..I don't really keep up with events. Only thing I know is the Paris incident, but from your words it seems like more has happened."

[Iris Trochu]

"Shocker attempted to take France, and make me Kuuga, or...a bio weapon is more appropriate," she said, "We're taking back my home."

[Shinji Yakamura]

Queen of France? Iris certainly didn't tell him about that, but he supposed the people would need someone to rally behind and Iris was a good person. He was sure that she wouldn't let the power get to her head, at least he hoped not, "A lot more," Shinji agreed, "GAIA is going around the entire country destroying everything in their path; we've been chasing them hoping to put a stop to the whole thing before they hurt any more innocent people," he said.

[Mayu Inamori]

"And how do you plan to do that exactly? Conventional armies are ineffective, and the major organizations of the world seem to squabble among themselves. I find it distasteful. That's why I've wandered alone."  She nods in reply to Shinji, taking in that piece of information.

[Iris Trochu]

"I have people here who fight for me. Followers, allies... We're moving on the ground, following stories one after another. We've won so far, but at the cost of a dozen of our fighters. It seems to be more or less working."

[Shinji Yakamura]

Shinji turned to Iris, he didn't know that she had been Kuuga before, "You...you were Kuuga?" he asked his voice one of complete shock as he attempted to maintain his composure.

[Iris Trochu]

"I don't like to speak of it. They forced the belt onto me, I almost killed my rescuers, but then it vanished."

[Shinji Yakamura]

"I...I see..." Shinji said rubbing his eyes as he took a deep breath. So she didn't become Kuuga because she wanted to, people forced it on her, then he supposed she could not be his enemy since she was not part of the eternal war against the Grongis. "So it vanished huh? Alright then I won't press the matter," he said.

[Iris Trochu]

"There's nothing else I could tell you about it, even if I wanted to," she told him.

[Shinji Yakamura]

"No it's fine I'm sorry for making you remember it again," Shinji said.

[Mayu Inamori]

"The same thing that happened to Paris before.." Mayu mused softly. "Iris, was it? You speak of a cause. Yet I don't bind myself to causes very well. How do you treat those under you?"

[Iris Trochu]

"With undying respect. I don't see them as swords to point at my enemy, I see them as individuals, away from home, scared, fighting for their lives, but fighting for a greater cause. I will see to rewarding each and every warrior who fights for me, and doing everything I can in the meantime for them."

[Mayu Inamori]

"Hmm. Perhaps I will travel in the same direction as you for a while. Observe you and see for myself if you are correct. If you are, I will offer you my help."
