Shinji liked what Iris had said, she had conviction in her words and that was what mattered in something like this. Without conviction nobody would follow you even if you are in the right, he was right to trust Iris and he would make sure that her dreams are realised.

"Let's get moving then," Shinji said glad that Mayu was on their side. They would need her powers and...he was looking forward to spending more time with her, he still had not shaken the feeling that Mayu looked so much like his deceased lover, it kept him up at nights; but maybe this trip would put it to rest once and for all.

"Fine with me." Mayu gave, and walked beside them. Being dressed rather strangely, with a white skirt and blue jean combo, with black boots, a black patterned shirt, a white undershirt, and a white vest. She said nothing more along their trip for that moment.

"Let's not waste time then," Shinji said following the girls behind them as he continued to look around sighting a Lord now and again as they shadowed him, prepared to defend their Overlord with a single command.
