"Well, I got quite a few things in Seattle to take care of, school and my work among them. Wouldn't be right to just drop it on a whim, you know what I mean". She replied

He sighed, "That's more or less what I did. I dropped med school for this."

"So, you're a Ranger full time?"
Truth be told though, Sonya had had much on her mind since the Zangyack first invaded, she thought it possible for her to live out two lives as a Ranger and as an student/aspiring chef. Of course, the comics never did dwell on those dilemmas, as she found out. She knew the Zangyack would likely in return force one day, and it seemed the remnants stranded on Earth had begun to escalate their attacks, stretching current military resources thin if the news reports were an indicator.
Meeting Will, a fellow Ranger for the first time had Sonya question seriously regarding the path she was to take.

He nodded and leaned against a tree, "I can't justify doing anything else," he said, "If I'd even try, I'd be questioning why I'm not fighting harder, or putting all of my focus into it. I hate it, but...but it's something."

"Well, if the Zangyack ever come back, and something tells me that's likely, there wouldn't be any point worrying about a career if your home gets destroyed I guess".
Sonya sat down on another tree facing Will, before letting out a sigh "...I guess I haven't really thought about what I really think is the right thing to do. It was something my parents always told me, whatever you do in life, make sure its a fulfilling one. Corny I know, but I always thought it was something worth following. Course, before I found that ship, I thought it meant just graduating, finding a job you'd like, those kinds of things".

He nodded, "You're doing the right thing. So was I. There's just more extreme and less extreme versions of "right", and I chose the more extreme one. It's lonely, and I hate it, but still, I walk it."

"Y'know, this is the part where having a secret base or being able to teleport instantaneously would be very convenient right about now", she chuckled. "But all the same, I would like to know you a little more".

He nodded, "Maybe if the ship can get repaired we can get stuff like that going."

That tidbit perked her ears somewhat
"...How big is that ship anyway, the craft I received my powers from was just a small little pod".

"The part I found was roughly twenty feet by fifteen feet. It was more like an actual body of a ship."

"Huh, maybe its parts of it that got disassembled when it hit our atmosphere, or something." She said "Do you know where the craft is? The one in Seattle I never checked, I'm assuming the CIA/NSA/Random Nebulous Government Agency probably took it for research".

"It's complicated," he said, "It landed in a park, but before officials could arrive, it vanished. I don't know where it is."

"Huh, that's weird". If it were parts of a ship though, she would assume others might have found it and received their powers in the process.
"Have there been any mentions of other Rangers like us, in the news or otherwise. I was so wrapped up, you were the first one I became aware of".

He shook his head, "I haven't seen anything yet. Granted, I don't think I've looked as hard as you have."

She sighed, "I guess we're both at an impasse in that department, so, what now?".
