(Note: Set after "Betrayal" and "Revival of a War God.")
Andrea had briefed Natsumi on what happened with the betrayal. The First had succeeded in making the man retreat, but the words he left behind were troubling. And the Field Leader was skeptical of them. They reminded her too much of things she'd learned from her father about the past. She was going to get to the bottom of this.
As Zangetsu, she advanced on the area where Iris was residing, Aegis in one hand, cocked Musou Saber in the other. A few of the exiled heir of state's guards raised their conventional, Memory-assisted rifles, but the Armored Rider shook her head. "Don't." Lucky enough for them, they let her pass. And lucky for Natsumi as well, because she didn't want to hurt them.
"Iris Trochu!" Her feminine voice boomed in the large hall that she entered, gathering immediate attention to herself from those who were in the room. "I think you know why I'm here."

Iris was standing at a table, looking at a map of France, with Paris painfully marked out. It hurt to do that every time, but it was the truth. Paris had been gone for a long time now.
When she had heard the doors open she turned away from her plans and saw the Kamen Rider standing there. She knew Wolf had left, betrayed her. She had people, she heard things. "Are you here to hold me responsible for the betrayal of my bodyguard?" she questioned.

"I am. I'm going to need you to come with me. Quietly. So we may get to the bottom of this. A trial will be arranged, and I will do everything in my power to head it personally. To ensure fairness to you." Natsumi was a strong woman, and sympathized with Iris' plight. But the dead personnel at URSA made it impossible for her to settle things in this setting. Even if she got Nakagawa's help in the matter. Too many people knew.

"A trial?" she questioned, "This is hardly my fault. Do you think I knew about this ahead of time, or something?" she questioned angrily.

"That's what we're going to find out. I'm sure you've heard of what happened. If we didn't have casualties involved I would be more than happy to settle this here. But too many people know, and it's a chance to clear your name of anything associated with Wolf. I'm trying to be reasonable with you. Don't prove me wrong."

"You're going to find nothing to hold me accountable for," she told Natsumi, "I did nothing. I knew nothing. But I do understand the reason behind this, since people have died. For their sake, I will come along with you."

"For your sake, I hope so. Since I want to believe you." Zangetsu gave, keying something into her helmet communicator. "A van is waiting for us outside. I'll radio ahead and make the arrangements. We'll have some time before the trial, where we can go over what you know, and what happened. Any questions?"

"None," she said simply. She just wanted to get this over with.

Zangetsu leads her out of the location and returns to human form, and the van returns to URSA HQ. They enter the elevator, and head for the Command Center. The large room where the trial would be held was nearby. So far, they await for the elevator to ascend.

Iris said nothing, and held nothing of danger on her person, not her Driver, nor her Seed. They were hidden, not even in her room.

They exit onto the Command Center deck, and Natsumi makes a motion to clear the room. Which was done in short order. They approach the center area, and Natsumi brings up the file. "First, the allegations that made me question you. I am skeptical of these, and believe they were meant to sow discord. You may form your own opinion...but tell it true."

She listened and nodded, "I did go to Last Raven, I have a Driver from them. I brought one of your soldiers to my side as a thanks and a Driver for him. But if that's treason, or being proactive where URSA won't be, that's not my call."

Natsumi nods, thinking about this. "Were you given the name of the technology that you received? And you recruited this individual as thanks for saving your life?"

"Genesis and Energy Seed," she said, "I recruited him as a thanks for saving my life, and got him a Genesis Driver as well, yes."

She nods a bit. "Alright. It seems that we're ready for the trial. It might be known as an inquiry in your country though." Natsumi gave. "Please follow me." she leads the way to the large room. There are not many people there on such short notice, but enough to witness what was about to happen. One of these faces is familiar to both parties. Takatora Kureshima, the one URSA higher up that was present on site. Here to observe his daughter's handling of the case, and also the one with the ability to make the final call.
"Please, have a seat." she gave, stepping up on the podium and ensuring that her dossier was in order.
