[Iris Trochu]

Iris had called in anyone she could from URSA, and had made sure her words would be heard everywhere in the building, and be sent to other branches later on via video, if not done on simulcast.  She had a mission to free her country, and she needed soldiers.

"People of URSA, you fight to protect this world from Shocker!  Those of you here, in Japan, are fighting as usual, but are also chasing the ghosts of GAIA!  I make it no secret that I hate this, because the threat is in France, your target is in my country!  Yet your leaders would see fit to keep you here.  I understand why, it's easier to search near your base, and protect your base and home at the same time.

"I ask of you, anyone who is willing, to join with me, and come to France!  We will expunge the evils of Shocker from my land, and strike a blow against them!  You will be rewarded for your service, and then will return to your rightful locations.  But please, I beg of you, help me save my land.  Help me save my people!  Please, I beg this of you all!  Consider my offer, and consider fighting for a people you don't know!"

[Shinji Yakamura]

Shinji was in the building when the plea for help came out. Naturally he was aware of what Iris' bodyguard did and he sympathised with the girl, she had her whole country subjugated once again under a tyrannical rule, and her bodyguard went up and betrayed her. It was enough to break most people considering the amount of mental pressure that would be on their shoulder, but he saw that Iris was stronger than most people and she did need desperate help. He had been thinking about going to Europe anyways to visit the few remaining Lords outpost as well as personally seeing the situation in France.

After the stockholder's meeting ended he quietly picked up his briefcase and walked out the door. Some of the stockholders were making jokes about whether or not anyone would take up Iris' offer, it was natural that they would not trust her even if she had been cleared by the inquiry, it was human nature to not trust people...and when they do trust they betray them in the end. Shinji's face revealed no emotions as he walked towards where Iris was and opened the door before quietly closing it, "So...it seems you're in quite the predicament," he said to the woman.

[Iris Trochu]

She turned to him, "Shinji," she said, then took a few steps in his direction, "Yes. Yes I am. My country burns and I need people to help me fight for it. But," she gestured, "Nobody yet." She dropped her arms to her sides, "But I can always appeal to anyone else. Last Raven is helping me, and I can go to other companies..."

[Shinji Yakamura]

"Is it wise to trust the likes of Last Raven and all those other companies?" Shinji asked, "Not to trudge up old wounds, but after what happened with your bodyguard what's to say that they won't betray you?"

[Iris Trochu]

"I've met with the people of Last Raven. They equipped me with one of their strongest technologies. We have an alliance. URSA has one with Raven as well."

[Shinji Yakamura]

"Well URSA isn't exactly trustworthy at the moment considering they're more focused on consolidating my power, and you didn't answer my question about trust either," Shinji said, "just because they let you use their strongest technology doesn't mean that they're trustworthy. For all you know they could be using you just to test out their system."

[Iris Trochu]

"They could be, but I do trust them. I've met with their leader, and he seems a good man. Although, so was Ravinn, but I need to put my trust in someone."

[Shinji Yakamura]

"Like I said to you before, trust is a fickle thing, it's a commodity that is brought and sold at a drop of the hat. You would be wise to be careful who you give your trust to lest you find yourself in a familiar unfortunate situation again."

[Iris Trochu]

She smiled a little, "And what of you? Are you someone whom I can place my trust into? Or should I be wary?"

[Shinji Yakamura]

Shinji smiled as he slowly approached her, "Unlike those fools who care only about themselves and what power or benefit they could get from helping you, I care about the future of the world and I care about people dying each day because of Shocker or Gaia or whatever they call themselves," he said in a low voice though still loud enough to be heard as he stopped close to Iris. He then gently took her chin and titled it to meet his eyes, "The question is can trust me even if I am the Devil himself?" he whispered to her.

[Adam Jonas]

Adam's phone had gone off when he had been working under a delivery truck. He'd scrambled to answer it, and received a strong blow to the head.

After getting an ice pack and applying it to the side of his head, he watched the announcement intently. An interesting proposition, to say the least. Adam immediately tried to make a reply through video as well.

"Hey! Anyone on the other end? I volunteer!"

[Iris Trochu]

She looked up at him and gave him a soft smile, "God, a devil, whatever I must ally with is fine with me. And you're a better devil than there could be."

She heard a response and stepped away from him, pulling up her mobile, "I have someone interested," she said, "Hello?"

[Shinji Yakamura]

Shinji could only smile back as someone became interested in helping Iris, "And here I thought I would be the only knight in shining armour for you," he said lightly as he waited for the phone conversation to end.

[Adam Jonas]

"Yes, hello." Adam pressed the ice pack to the side of his head as he replied. "I get the feeling you could use a field mechanic."

[Iris Trochu]

"Yes. Please, meet me outside the building in an hour. Main headquarters."
