"I wouldn't be here if I didn't enjoy my work somewhat. What about you, do you enjoy your work and what exactly is your work if you don't mind me asking? You do seem to be the one asking all the questions, it just wouldn't be right if I didn't get in a few myself."

[The Sentinels]

"You enjoy it do you?" as Adriana gave a smile, "That's a very interesting statement...so you enjoy killing these aliens? And as for what we do? I'm sure a little research will tell you this, but I might as well tell you now. We are the Sentinel Division, an organisation that has absolute authority over the United States Armed Forces and basically we are the shield that defends this nation using whatever means necessary."

[Ellen Ripley Trager]

"A shield, huh? Well consider us the goddamn AK-47 that keeps our entire planet from facing complete annihilation."

[The Sentinels]

"An Ak-47? You think that will be enough to win a war?" Adriana mused, "How amusing."

[Ellen Ripley Trager]

"Well, when I say AK, I of course mean the full on space armada. Don't tell me you guys don't have one of those."

[Jessica Butcher]

"If I may" Jessica said, "how much experience do you at Sentinel know about intergalactic law and politics?"

[The Sentinels]

Adriana kept her smile as she looked at both of them, "Zero experience considering that up to some time ago we didn't have a space armada hovering above our orbit, but then again we weren't expecting your world to merge with ours killing millions of people around the globe including having the northern part of America vanish overnight and replaced with yours, we weren't expecting these 'Rangers' to go around and start attacking monsters though helpful they have been and we certainly did not expect gigantic robots to be fighting in cities causing untold damages and further loss of life," she said in a firm, accusatory voice as her eyes blazed with anger.

She crossed her arms, "And we didn't expect the world of a bunch of elitist assholes to kill millions of our people and destroy our cites. This isn't a country, it's crazy town. Insect aliens we've never heard of that can take on the appearance of actual humans and replace them? An entire city overrun by monsters that can travel through mirrors? Hell just on my way here, I had to fight off a bunch of bloodthirsty creatures ranting in some gibberish, at least the aliens i'm used to are prone to long winded monologues about how evil they are in English. "

[The Sentinels]

"Well welcome to our world and you can welcome us to your world. This is what we had to contend with before you showed up here with your new Kaijins and you know what? You're right this isn't a world anymore it's-" Adriana shouted as Nina stopped her.

"Adriana calm down," she said as the Air Force veteran looked down.

"I'm going to take a break," she said turning around, "you deal with the rest Lieutenant," as she left the room.

"Right," Nina said as she went to the centre, "I apologise for my colleagues behaviour, but we are all tensed at the moment. I won't circumvent this like she does so I'll go straight to the point: the fact is that our worlds have merged, both sides have suffered casualties and I guess 'world shock' at this new development. There are people outside crying for your blood as they blame you for the untold deaths, we are stretched to the limit trying to contain the damages and with the Rangers running around we don't know if they're friend or foe. So you can understand why we're grilling you right?"

[Jessica Butcher]

Jessica, who had stayed quiet but was visibly fuming at the accusations, nodded. "I understand" Jessica said, beginning to try something diplomatic. "But in the eyes of my people a bunch of you look like vigilantes playing with immense amounts of power. And before our world's converged, at least we hadn't been devastated by a massive war that killed millions. So maybe the giant robots are working."

[The Sentinels]

"That's something we can agree on then," Nina said, "both sides are playing vigilante depending on who's who. And that's the other difference: we're just recovering from a war against monsters, monsters that are most likely different than the one that you encounter, so having more monsters crop up brings bad memories in those that have lived through the war; the giant robots are a plus, but honestly? I think we prefer if they're used against any enemy spaceship rather than fighting against gigantic monsters."

Ripley stood back and let the Detective take it from here. If the argument had gone any further, she had been fully prepared to knock that bitch's lights out.

[Jessica Butcher]

"I would agree with you, if our monsters didn't routinely grow to giant size or have robots of their own" Jessica said. "There aren't many options there."

[The Sentinels]

"That does present a problem," Nina agreed, "I don't suppose you can lead them to a place where there are no buildings? From what we observed they seem very keen to kill you guys."

[Ellen Ripley Trager]

"You guys have plenty of open space," Ripley cut in, "But don't worry about it, giant fights are usually over in a blink of an eye."
