PROJECT ARROW [OPEN]

[Cristina Blanco]

Grant Epstein, head of GAIA, was present in one of the large meeting rooms of URSA.  GAIA, being R&D, didn't have a military force, but they did provide technology to many others, including URSA.  This was one of their times to give back, before many investors in GAIA and URSA, and many others who were there to see.

Cristina was among the crowd, watching from a catwalk.  There were troopers everywhere for the sake of defense, just in case something would go wrong.  There was not telling how much sentience the enemy had, after all.

Along with Epstein there was Daniel Everson, a member of GAIA who was assisting in this project.

[Arata Nakagawa]

Arata stood in the crowd as well, watching. He had every right to be on the stage with them, but Arata didn't much like being famous in his line of work. Besides, he was more than a little suspicious.

[Natsumi Kureshima]

Natsumi was there, as one of the heads of security. This seemed like a great presentation, and she'd made sure her troopers were present. For now she wore the usual black dress that she had, with heels. The Sengoku Driver around her waist again. Ready to spring into action if needed. She nods in acknowledgement to Grant and Daniel, and awaits the arrival of more people, taking note of the presence of a scientist too.

[Kiriha Kyuuseishu]

Kiriha was in his civilian clothes, acting as a medic, if need be. He wasn't a trooper right now. He passed by Natsumi on his way around the event as more people came inside.

[Seto Arai]

Seto was once again on patrol duty as he walked amongst the crowd. His job was like the rest of the troopers - maintain surveillance and keep everything under control and he darted his eyes keenly to make sure nothing weird or suspicious was going on. The fact that GAIA's leader, Mr. Epstein, made this job over-the-top important and Seto wanted to make good impressions if everything was to go well.

Due to the Kiva-related stunt he pulled off weeks earlier, Chief Nakagama and Lady Kureshima had barred him from using his Rider powers without authorization and it sure as hell made his job A LOT harder without the Sengoku Driver's human enhancing abilities.

[Ken Motai]

As part of the security forces Ken was naturally there as he patrolled the area, he had done these kinds of things before when he was an SAT field officer so he knew the game very well. He checked outside the doors to make sure that there wasn't anyone loitering around or being somewhere they weren't supposed to be before he scanned the crowd for any suspicious activities as he passed Seto and nodded to him in acknowledgement.

He didn't have his armour on right now and he hoped he wouldn't have to use it, but if need be he was happy with the knowledge that it was close by and it wouldn't take long for it to come to him rather then taking some time depending on where he was when he needed it.

[Cristina Blanco]

Epstein looked out at the crowd, then nodded to his younger assistant, "Everyone!" he called, "It is with a great honor that today I show you the fruits of a long labor for GAIA! We've worked on this technology for nearly a year's time, and it's finally completed. This...this technology will change the face of this war."

He looked to his side, "Daniel. Please, initiate the technology."

Daniel nodded, "To retain our secrecy, to await showing you the moment, please, draw a curtain!" A curtain was indeed set up on stage, and it was drawn, keeping Daniel from view. In a few moments, Epstein nodded.

"PROJECT ARROW," he said, pulling the curtain back.

The figure loosed an arrow into the crowd, obliterating a chunk of it with sheer destructive force.

[Arata Nakagawa]

Arata winced. This was unexpected. They just killed several innocents to demonstrate this technology.

[Natsumi Kureshima]

Natsumi glared a bit as this was unexpected. "Hey! What the hell was that?" she called out, looking around..

[Seto Arai]

Seto was utterly horrified by what he just saw; it was a carnage under a one second time limit. Already lives were lost, in a mere blink of an eye by some...kaijin. And nobody saw it coming...nor could they stop it.

"My God! What the fuck is this?!" Seto screamed through the radio comms. "That's NOT new technology!"

He was heavily tempted to pull out his Driver, but doing so meant severe punishment from the higher-ups and he barely suppressed his righteous anger from taking form. "Chief Nakagawa, that's a KAIJIN! I need to transform now!!!"

[Andrea & The Priestess of Fate]

Andrea was watching the demonstration from farther away, and even she was able to tell the damage that was caused by what had just happened. "Hijo de perra..." she muttered, taking out her Sengoku Driver.

[Ken Motai]

Ken spun around in shock of what had just happened, in fact he didn't even know what happened, as he immediately called on the G4 system. The whooshing sound was instantaneous as he wondered how it was able to travel that fast and he then felt the familiar feel of the system enveloping him as he took out his gun and aimed it at ARROW.

[Arata Nakagawa]

Arata appeared out of the crowd next to Natsumi. "Should we give our eager trooper beaver the go-ahead?"

[Natsumi Kureshima]

"Yeah." She gave, ordering into the radio. "All troopers who can transform are cleared to do so." She raises her Lockseed.

"Melon."

The artificial crack opens above her and the Lockseed appears. She tosses it up in the air and then catches it, inserting into the Driver.

"Lock On."

Then she slices the Lockseed and charges forward.

"Soiya! Melon Arms: By Heaven's Decree."

The Melon blocks the first arrow, and then the Aegis on appearance blocks a second one as she moves to interpose herself inbetween the kaijin and the crowd.

[Ken Motai]

Ken rushed forward beside Natsumi before he used his body to block the monster from advancing any further, "Do we have permission to engage?" he asked Natsumi.
