"I see, well I'm sure that you'll figure it out one day."

She nodded, "Um...you know my name, who are you?" she asked, "What is it you're doing?" She figured she should ask the same questions back.

"Me? I'm nobody important," Miki said with a soft smile, "my name is Miki Tanbe and I work as a freelance programmer." She didn't like to state that she had been recruited by the US Cyber Command, the military's cyber-warfare division, and that she refused it. Funny how they let her go despite her prodigious talents, perhaps that meant that she wasn't as good as any other hackers or programmers in the US. But that was fine with her, she liked her loneliness and isolation.

She nodded, "So...you help people with computers? Or, I'm guessing companies is a better guess?" she asked. She had no idea what that could mean, it seemed kind of broad.

"Depends," Miki said with a shrug, "some days I get jobs to make a website for a small business other days large corporations ask me to program something for them or do something for them. I don't work for a single person, I work for myself that's all."

"And how is that?" she asked.

"Well...I...I don't like working with people, talking with people either. I rather be left alone than be forced to conform to their rules and such," Miki lied. In truth she wished that she was able to talk to people and be around them, but her extremely low self-esteem made that impossible as she wrapped had arms around her body and looked down.

"Oh, I see...," she said. Why talk here and now, then? "I meant the job though."

"Oh...well...I guess it's okay, it allows me to work alone and I like programming," Miki said.

She nodded a little, kind of wanting this conversation to end so she could go home.

Suddenly there was a loud scream as Miki turned to see a monster right across the street as it turned a car over as she screamed and fell on the ground in shock, "M-m-monster!" she shouted.

"No, no, no...," she muttered, taking her things and running. She had a duty to get involved, but she didn't really want people to know who she was, so run away, transform, circle around. That was a good plan...

At the same time Miki's bracelet flashed as she looked at it, "What now of all times?" she asked as she wondered why it was flashing. Perhaps it was some sort of communicator of some sort, "Hello? Hello is anyone there?" she said to the bracelet.

Tessa stopped and dropped her things. She shouted and gripped her head. It was like someone was talking into her.

Miki then saw the transformed Tessa and didn't recognise her at first, "Hey! Are you alright?" she asked.
