The monster darkly chuckled as it picked Tessa up and began to strangle her.

Tessa screamed with each hit and started to claw herself across the ground to try to escape.

The monster was about to stomp her again when Miki pushed it out of the way and hit it with a piece of timber, "That's why...I told you to run away!" she said panting as she lifted Tessa, using only pure adrenaline for the strength, as she began to drag her away from it.

Tessa threw her arm out and screamed, unleashing a blast of energy which tore through the ground and smashed into the monster's chest.

The monster wasn't ready for it and was sent flying into the building as Miki dragged Tessa, "Come on stop fighting, we need to get out of here!" she said as she looked back to the monster still on the ground.

Miki shouted infuriated that someone would be willing to die, "You just want to die for a cause you have no idea about! What about your family? Friends? How do you think they feel if they found out you died!!"
