The squiddroid had fire power, but it didn't seem to have much in defenses. The stabs went in, but hit nothing vital yet. The squidroid's tentacles then attempted to pull Drench off.

Drench struggled against the tentacles, trying to keep his footing.

The other tentacles where occupied with keeping the vikings at bay. Their leader shouted a challenge before striking at the squidroid with his recently retrieved ax.
The squidroid dared not fire at its self and then attempted to strangle Drench.

Drench fought back the tentacles and sliced at them with his weapons.

Drench managed to slice right through one, causing it to collapse to the ground bellow. The squidroid cried out as if it were a living organism.

"Okay, that's different." Drench noted as he jumped from the downed robot. "Machines generally don't make that noise."

The squidroid continued to cry out, its tentacles thrashing about everywhere.
"It is a beast that must be slain!" shouted the viking leader in reply.

"Do not fret, Blue God," he grinned, "We have already tangled with beast before and came out alive."
He then shouted orders to his companions, some of which retreated to the boat and came back with iron chains and grappling hooks.
The squidriod stopped screaming and returned its attention to Drench, what seemed to be anger flowing from it.
