Sonya kept her aim on the sphere, "Who are you, and why'd you send this thing to blow up my apartment?"

The voice laughed, "I apologize for the destruction of your dwelling, I merely wanted to capture you for research purposes. I will let my identity remain a mystery for now, it makes it more dramatic that way."

[Sonya Kovalev]

"Yeah, well, last I checked you kind of need a person's consent before they agree to experimental research. And even so, I probably would not sign with the likes of you", she retorted.

[Mark Komarov]

The voice laughed once more, "I require no permission. Did I ask permission to abduct all of those countless others for my own devices? But unlike the useless fodder, I find you a lot more.. fascinating. That device that gives you power, I would love to know more about it."

[Sonya Kovalev]

"Well you certainly made a convincing offer, here's my reply". Sonya said before unleashing a fully charged Header shot at the sphere

The sphere managed to turn itself, preventing Sonya from hitting its exposed self.

"So rude," said the voice, "I wasn't finished speaking, but well. I guess the time for talk is over."

A hand once protruded from the sphere and then another. Soon the sphere shifted into a more humanoid form, standing at least seven feet tall. It's wound had shifted onto the folds of its back.

It looked at her with its blank face.

"Shall we continue our little game of cat and mouse?"

And all I wanted was some leftover pizza.

Sonya retrieved the Rock Smash card from her deck and inserted it into the morpher, the ground in front of her burst upwards forming a large boulder which was sent hurtling at the metal man.

The former sphere now metal man lifted its large hand, balled it into a fist, and came slinging at Sonya with the force of a ton of dropped bricks.

Sonya watched as her attack missed, the rock barely grazing the metal man before she was sent flying by the hit, having left herself exposed to attack.

She landed a few feet away from her opponent, grimacing in pain underneath her helmet as her free hand covered her ribs, frantically thinking of some way to kill it as she went on the defensive.

Instead of walking, the metal man simply floated several centimeters into the air and over where Sonya was.

"You can not win," taunted the voice, "It's best to just give up now. I can guarantee you'll be well taken care off."

"Иди к черту!" she spat as she lunged at the metal man with her ax in a desperate strike aimed at its head.

"You don't learn do you?" the voice laughed.

They two were on the open road by then and the loud honk of approaching truck could be heard incoming.

Instead of attacking again, the metal man instead attempted to grab Sonya by the waist.

Sonya saw her attack get blocked, she was running out of options now as it moved to grab her.

Thinking quickly, she put her hands on the metal man's shoulders and used them to catapult herself behind it, hoping that the exposed point in its armor was still there, she fired several shots at its back.

The shots hit its mark, causing the metal man to fall to his knee.

The truck continued its path towards them, completely unaware of what was transpiring.

Sonya saw her opening and re-materialized the Header, firing a fully charged shot at the exposure while it was down.

Please just kill this thing already!
