The ship docked with the larger craft and remained in the hanger. Rei lifted the girl and walked out.

Jo moved to step off, but grabbed her arrow before leaving. She wouldn't let this uppity weakling die like a weakling. She would kill him, and it would be long, and he would scream in pain until he was hoarse, and then scream some more. He would pay for his disrespect in blood.
