Hana kicked the door closed behind her just as the ooze attempted to grab her again.
"That was close.." she muttered, "At least it doesn't seem to try to leave the House.."
She turned back to Mayu, "It's been awhile since I had somebody looking out for me, i'll admit. The only other Magi is not nearly as strong or as experienced as you. I would be honored to have you fight alongside me, no matter what the enemy."

"Consider it done." Mayu nodded. "What is that stuff anyway?" she added, smiling at your words. There was something that made her want to be there for this woman. In what capacity, she wasn't sure, but she felt the pull there. It reminded her of her younger days. "I've got an apartment that we can stay at, if you need somewhere to reside in the short-term."

"We have our theories, but it's most likely sentient ectoplasm created from the enemy leader himself. Highly nasty stuff, immune to most magic and has almost completely taken over the House. I'll need at least three Magi, including myself, in order to expunge it."
She blinked and then smiled, "That would be wonderful."

"Of course." She said, holding up her right hand with a ring on the middle finger.
"Teleport: Now."
White energy forms around them, swirling as it scrolls up before making them disappear.
Then, the process repeats, white energy swirling as they're deposited in the foyer of Mayu's apartment.

"I see. Think I've got something for that." She disappears into the kitchen and returns with two glasses of light wine. "Lightest thing I've got. Hope you enjoy it." she said, sitting next to Hana and raising her glass. "To getting away from the ooze, and meeting new people."

She raised her own glass, "To changes, good and bad, but mostly good. And of course Mayu, who's saved my ass more than once today."
She then took a rather long drink and added, "And you can bet if your ass is ever in trouble, I will be the first one there to save it."

She tipped her glass to yours, and drank a long one from it herself, smiling a bit at your humor. "My pretty backside, and the face that goes with it, thanks you very much. Same goes for you." The mage would relax for probably the first time that day, her age showing a little, along with little faint scars on the visible parts of her body. Her neck and her hands.

She drank some more and her body began to wobble slightly. Apparently light just wasn't light enough..
"Say Mayu, I can't necessarily tell your age just by looking at you, but if I had to guess.. 28, 29?" she let out a slight burp, "Excuuuse me."
She then started to laugh uncontrollably.
"Sorry, sorry, I always get like this when I drink, I really should stop.."
