He nodded, "Are you building someone's personal computer, or do you mean entirely new?" He'd go into more detail in his question if he could think of how to phrase it, but he had nothing. This really wasn't his strong suit. He knew how to use computers and stuff, but anything about inside? No, nothing at all.

Rei beamed. "Entirely new! We're working on the next new major computer!" she exclaimed. She was really excited about this project. So many fun bits of technology to play with. And her company had quite the budget. They were successful. they new their next model would sell and they wanted it to be fantastic. She chuckled. "I don't want to bore you, though. I know computers aren't your thing." She on the other hand was extremely fond of them. Shinkengers were very old tech was swords. And the magic hadn't really changed for centuries. Neither had the suits. It was nice to have the contrast, shiny new things to play with at work.

"It would be lost on me," he admitted, "I can use computers just fine, but I don't get the insides." He smiled a little more warmly, "That's why we have you," he said in a joking tone. He figured that even if his tone hadn't changed, she'd have gotten that he was joking, but best to let her be sure of that.

She chuckled. "Shinkengers don't have much use for techies. Computers aren't really involved with our fights, at all." Which was entirely the point and half the appeal. Still, the notion of upgrading their suits somehow was fascinating. Not like she'd experiment. Why fix what wasn't broken? They knew how to tap into their powers and magic but they new next to nothing about where the power originally came from and how exactly it operated. Yes, best not to tamper.

He nodded, "But company work is what I'm referring to. It helps to at least know how to use it," he said. Just basic stuff for the most part. He was about average with computers, the non-tech status of the team didn't weigh him down or anything, he still knew what normal people knew in that regard.

Rei grinned. "If your computer breaks down you know who to see," she said warmly. She'd fixed his computer more than once, saving him tons of money. It should be a crime how much companies charged for relatively simple fixes.

"Of course. Why would I ever turn to anyone else when I have you?" he asked. He meant that. She meant a lot to him, and he'd go to her for anything he knew she could help him with.

She wrapped her arms around him in response. Rei was very glad Kai felt he could come to her with his problems. Although he still tried to take on too much on his own. Sometimes getting him to admit what was wrong was like pulling teeth. "So how are things with the company? No emergencies?"

He smiled with her arms around him, then shook his head, "No. Things are fine. I don't have the greatest business sense, so the people I have in charge of things I can't do are doing just fine. Everything is fine so far, no emergencies, no problems at all. I still have to be around to make sure things are running though."

"I wouldn't worry too much about it. You're occupied with other things. And you're surrounded by more experienced businessmen. Heed their advice unless you see a reason not to. And just do what you can," she said warmly, arms still wrapped around him. "We might be Shinkengers but we're not supermen! Still human!"

"And business is completely different from the samurai path," he said. Well, that was obvious and went without saying, but still, he threw that out there. He was good at fighting and being a leader, but the finesse of business was beyond him. He hadn't had much proper training in that regard, and did mean to get to it, but he just lacked the time. It was always time that he lacked...

"Be patient," she said gently. "You're young yet. You'll learn." It was funny her telling him to be patient for once. Out of the two of them she was certainly the more temperamental one. Her parents had tried to prioritize her Shinkenger training over regular education but she'd fought them tooth and nail on that when she grew older, wanting to balance both, wanting a future. But somehow she doubted Kai had done the same.

"You're right," he said. He could keep going with people running more of the day to day operations, but he would have to devote time to it and get it down. He would have to teach his heir, after all. He didn't want the Shiba line to have to be dependent on others to run their own company, the company that funded their team. That was just wrong, it needed to be a Shiba in charge, knowing what to do. "I'll learn everything I need to before I turn thirty. How's that?"

"Kai, you're 28," she pointed out. "You really think you can master all you need to know in two years?" She shook her head laughing but not unkindly. "You're dreaming. Businesses are complicated things."

He sighed, "Ok. Not all of it. Enough to get at least somewhat by," he clarified. That would be enough, for the time being, if nothing else.
